Take 3 is a versatile jazz group that plays everything from old school jazz to modern and contemporary. Take 3 is known for being easy to work with, professional, and versatile. Take 3 books as anything from a single player to a big band, but our most common booking is a trio. Take 3 is also great for backing singers and has often been the backing band for featured jazz vocalists.

People often ask us for a list of the songs we play. Well, that’s really tough, because honestly we have -thousands-, and that’s no exaggeration. and pretty much anybody else you can name.
Take 3 has been around a long time – since 2001! We’ve had many great players come through the group but one things has always remained consistent – fun, high quality jazz that people want to tap their foot to! Happy music for happy people, it sounds cheesy but trust me when I say there’s a reason we’ve been around so long.
